The Puerto Rico Chapter
has assisted in the formation of Student Chapters at the Schools of Law of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, the Universidad de Puerto Rico
and the Interamerican University. These chapters allow students to attend
all of the FBA activities at a substantial discount, and to receive the regular
publications of the National and Local organizations.
Seminars are planned by
the Student Chapters in areas of interest of the students, with the
participation of judges and experienced federal practitioners. The
premiere activity for the Student Chapters is the annual FBA Moot Court
Competition, where teams from all schools compete for an opportunity to
represent Puerto Rico in the National Moot Court Competition held in Washington,
D.C. in March or April of each year.
