HUMAN TRAFFICKING
BY THE HON. MARSHAL D. MORGAN,
U.S. MAGISTRATE JUDGE FOR THE DISTRICT OF PUERTO RICO
This seminar will cover what human trafficking is, its presence in our society, and how these types of cases are charged in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico under applicable federal statutes, such as the Mann Act. Magistrate Judge Morgan will share experiences and lessons collected from his years investigating and prosecuting human trafficking and child sexual exploitation cases as a former Assistant United States Attorney, as well as his perspectives regarding such cases from the bench.
